I've enjoyed every Michael Connelly book I've ever read. I've been acquainted with Harry Bosch from the earliest books in the series and have enjoyed his character development over the years. In Nine Dragons, Harry is even more of an intolerant, impatient, jerk than ever but he still has a solid likeable core. His compatriots in the police department are more easy going than I would be with the brusque, insensitive behaviour of this man but I think its part of Connelly's talent that he has drawn a character that is not really very nice but still makes the reader want to know him. I was happy to see an appearance of Mickey Haller and have hopes to see Connelly enmesh the lives of the two half brothers.
