2.5/5; 3 stars; B-This was a good introduction to the series. I liked the characters and I liked the depiction of small town politics. However, I think Abby's torment over Adam, and the fiasco of her teen years was a bit overdone. for someone who had as much courage and moxy as Abby, I couldn't buy into her being completely cowed by the Ruby. That annoyed me and detracted from the story for me.
