I'm a retired chemist and stay at home mom. I read a wide variety of books, mostly fiction with romantic elements. I love PNR, UF, Sci-Fi, fantasy, mystery, romance, health, and finance books.
Classic style fantasy but with a twist. Lindskold manages to pull off a really tough story angle, that of a child raised by a pack of wolves (after toddlerhood). The book has sentient, communicative animals which I always enjoy and lots of interesting characters. It didn't grab me like some fantasy stories do otherwise I'd give it one more star.
