3.5/5; 4 stars; B+I was leery of this book because the short story with Kelsey and Gage was a wallbanger for me. It turned out ok though and Scorched is another solid romantic suspense addition to the series. I liked the loyalty and determination of the Gage character but was not impressed with him as relationship material. I think the earliest novels in this series were better.
