3.5/5; 4 stars; B+I am a fan of Jo Goodman, predominantly because I like her characters so much. There are a lot of basic decent principles underlying the behaviour of most of her characters. Plus, I'm a sucker for small towns and the whole dynamic that prevails when everyone knows everyone else. This book wasn't quite as strong as [bc:The Last Renegade|13542966|The Last Renegade|Jo Goodman|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1340262645s/13542966.jpg|19107259],which also took place in Bitter Springs Wyoming but it was still an engaging western romance with a bit of mystery thrown in. I sincerely hope the author is going to write another book in this world with Finn as a main character. As a 10 year old kid he almost stole the whole show, I can't wait to see what he gets up to as an adult!
