I was kind of disappointed in this book. It had a great beginning. The book started out well and the characters were interesting. But by the end of the book I wanted to shake Brynn McKenzie. I wondered how Deaver could justify making such a courageous, smart, incisive and creative policewoman into such a putz in human relations. It just didn't fly with me. I found it hard to believe and the latter part of the book was the main reason I gave this story 2 stars instead of 3.
