This is the first book in the Glass sisters duology. I enjoyed it as much as Courtney's story, Whisper of Warning. Fiona Glass is kind of tortured by her artistic gift but she is driven to help the victims of violent crimes. She's pretty darned prickly but likeable nonetheless. The romance that develops between her and Jack was nicely intertwined with the story, not the main focus. A lot of authors try to run multiple story lines through a book and manage to make it confusing or jumbled. Not so,in this case. Laura Griffin tells the the story of two of Fiona's victims throughout the book and does it very smoothly.
