I got this book at the same time as Ice Queen and I'm glad I did. They probably should have been one book, told in two parts. The first half of this book was kind of boring but the second half was great. I would give Joey Hill 5 stars for the masterful way she handled the story of healing and rebirth of a person who had been tortured and damaged beyond what most people can bear. But I can't give the story 5 stars because it didn't hit me that way. I had to wade through too much verbiage to get the story. What I did see is tremendous potential in this author. I will definitely check out some of her other books.
