3/5; 3 stars; BI liked this book better than the first one. Kagawa continues to introduce new and interesting characters as well as build on those from the first book. The main weakness of this book was the first third was a tedious wallowing in teen angst, thwarted love, etc. However, the strength of the book came through in the rest of it where the action got rolling. A new quest, a few more bad guys, bit of an adventure. Overall, I'd say a pretty decent book for teens who like fantasy-lite.
