3.5/5; 4 stars; B+The first 15 or so books I read by this author were historical romances. She was one of my favorites in that genre. Over the last few years I've appreciated her willingness to try her hand in the contemporary genre. I loved Sugar Daddy and its sequels. Now, she is moving into contemporary romance with a paranormal flavor with her Friday Harbor series, and is pretty successful as far as I'm concerned. This isn't her greatest book and I still don't think anything can surpass [b:Worth Any Price|114168|Worth Any Price (Bow Street Runners, #3)|Lisa Kleypas|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1308429693s/114168.jpg|679364]. However, as a contemporary romance with a little bit of witchery, this one is a satisfying read.
