1/5; 1 star; DNFI started out reading this book feeling like it had some pretty good potential. I would like to strongly encourage this writer to keep going. I really liked her tone of voice and style and the fact that the writing flowed fairly well with very few obvious editing errors. I guess the thing that made stop reading was I really could not believe the characters and situations. For example, something simple like a person who has grown up in abject poverty is not going to leave a shower running for ages while they make out and flirt with someone in the bathroom. In fact, how could the shower be running when the building super turned off the water to the building after a flood destroyed part of it mere minutes ago? There are a lot of unbelievable things that transpired in terms of plotting and characterization. The plot was very predictable. With out deep and interesting characters to carry it off, the story lost its appeal. I stopped about half way through.
